Sustain Service Proposition: What we do
We are a uniquely strategic organisation based in Australia with
partnerships and clients spanning the globe. Our primary areas
of focus see us working with business and industry as they develop,
manage and review activities when it comes to social investment,
sustainability and corporate social responsibility. We work to ensure an organisation is realising a return
on the
investments being made and that they are having the intended impact. For example, an
organisation, as part of its CSR program, may be investing in the
development of school based education in a community where it operates
in either a developed or developing country. Our role is to ensure that
the investment being made is resulting in outcomes for that community
and the organisation is meeting its obligations under its corporate
social licence to operate. Are the education outcomes being realised?
is there potential for a skilled workforce to be developed locally? can
we do more and if so how? can we improve what we are doing? Education is
but one facet to social investment and CSR activities that may be funded
by an organisation. We also assess health, poverty alleviation, women's
empowerment, micro-financing and economic development initiatives. Our
assessment models map an organisations activities against a raft of
reporting frameworks from the Global Reporting Initiative to the
Principles of Social Investment, the Principles of Responsible
Investment to the Millennium Development Goals.
At the Sustain Group we deploy our teams into the field to monitor
compliance of suppliers, conduct supply chain reviews, audits of a
suppliers labour activities and human rights audits. We have three
divisions: Sustain Education develops and delivers
dedicated training and educational support services in the areas of
social investment, sustainability leadership and sustainable
development. Sustain Consulting works with
organisations to improve programs, develop additional capability and
capacity while Sustain Recruitment works with
organisations to identify and recruit the right talent for the ongoing
management of programs and initiatives.
Wherever you are in
the world we can provide a service that is leading edge and second to
none. That is our commitment to you.....
